Green Team
Sponsor: Mrs. Cox

WHMS is now collecting empty inkjet and printer cartridges to be recycled! Keep these items out of the landfill by bringing them to the box located in the Media Center. The Green Team is also making an up-cycled art project out of blue, green and white bottle caps. Did you know that bottle caps are made of a different plastic than water bottles and cannot be recycled?

Comin Soon! Look for our new Emoji for Recycling around the school.

Math Counts!
Sponsor: Mrs. Greenwell

Math Counts! is a fun and competitive after-school activity open to students who are looking to develop intuitive thinking skills and learn new types of math. Students will not only learn new material, but will apply their previous knowledge to fun and challenging problems. Mathletes will learn to view math not only as a set of rules or guidelines, but as an art. Math is a subject full of creativity and opportunity that many students enjoy. Besides academic benefits, Math Club is a great way to meet new people and develop teamwork and leadership skills. For more information, ask your math teacher for a Math Counts! club flyer.
